About the studio

Nerve III researches how a product or brand is perceived, and what to change once you know. The name comes from the cranial nerve that controls where the eye looks and how it holds focus.

Most UX work stops at whether people can complete a task. The harder questions are what they understood, what they missed, and what they concluded about your brand. The analysis is grounded in cognitive and behavioural science, and every finding names the mechanism behind it.

Typical starting points: a product that is not converting, a brand that is not landing, or a redesign nobody can fully explain. Just as often it is something that already works and could work better, or a decision the team keeps circling without evidence to settle it. A problem is a good reason to start. An unanswered question is enough.

A standard UX audit typically focuses on usability and task completion. The approach at Nerve III goes further: it looks at how the product or brand is perceived, not just used. That means examining visual communication, cognitive load, brand alignment, and what users take away, not just whether they can complete a flow.

Prices are fixed per engagement. The cost is agreed before the work starts and does not change unless the scope does. Additional flows or wireframes outside what was agreed are quoted separately.

No. All prices exclude VAT (BTW).

Yes, inside and outside the EU. For a business in another EU country, VAT is reverse-charged: the invoice carries no Dutch BTW and you account for the VAT in your own country, provided you have a valid EU VAT number. For a business outside the EU, the service falls outside Dutch VAT, so no BTW is charged and any local tax is handled on your side. Dutch businesses are invoiced with 21% BTW. The correct treatment is confirmed on the invoice.

The Review is the right starting point when the problem is unclear or the budget is limited. Full Audit is suited for teams with behavioural data who want a complete picture and a concrete plan. Yes. Early-stage products are often a good fit for a Review, particularly when there is limited data to work from but clear questions about how the product is landing with users.
